Offense still needs work! Where's the rush?  All in all not bad. :dancin:

Defense was incredible.

120 total yards.
2.2 yards per play.

Awesome.

They put up 315 vs. WVU.

I wouldn't blow your load over the defense just yet.  that was an absolutely horrible marshall team, especially on offense.  They didn't look like they knew they had a game to play today and they need to leave the qb run game at the door.  their qb was very lost in that aspect of the game.  Sooner or later KSU will actually have to move the ball and score their own points instead of getting lucky and playing inept teams who do it for them

shut the &@#% up husker. NU is gonna get their crap packed today. We haven't been scored on by an offense for two games now. And yes, Marshall is much better than any team NU has played so far. Holding a team to 120 yds total offense is impressive any time that it happens.

What I really like is that we seem to be making systematic gains every week! Marshall was not a bad team. I'm not saying were a top ten team. I do see lots of positives. Defense is almost always ahead of the offense. Keep in mind we are learning new every thing. I'm not saying we're going to win next week but I believe that we will be in the game. I like our prospects better than kus right now! JMO :ksu: :ksu: :dancin:

i think marshall's game plan was terrible.  their running back is a stud and they did not use him well at all.  his yards per carry was pretty solid and he only got 9 carries for the game.  wtf was the marshall coach thinking?  that said the kstate defense was solid but id be surprised if we could pull off the upset next week.
