Title: Weird sports radio phenomenon
Post by: Pete on November 14, 2008, 12:54:24 PM
Have you ever noticed that while taking calls from black-sounding listeners, sports talk radio hosts frequently slip into some sort of strange temporary black vernacular....and then instantly switch back out of it after the call hangs up?

But the embarrassing part is that they are using the black vernacular that was popular like 5 years ago to what is being currently used today?  Best displayed by Chingon.  Thanks brah.

I'm guilty of the bold.  My voice gets even whiter when I talk to people with ghetto accents.

I can't help but sound like Phil Liggett or Paul Sherwin, complete with British accent whilst watching the Tour de France.
