Title: Why Fitz cost us GP
Post by: cireksu on November 13, 2008, 09:33:19 AM
GP very well may have listened if KSU came calling AFTER THE SEASON!  whatever backwater channels that our AD was using to feel him out that got leaked to FITZ that he ran with have now pissed Pat off.  Our unqualified AD firing ron prince probably bc Fitz was telling Vanier that GP was in the bag also pissed GP off because it makes our AD look bush league, which it is right now.

GP may have listened after the season but from what has been reported!  with named sources! it looks like he's not entertaining offers from a school with an AD that is in a mess.

Seriously what coach not bill snyder would want to come here?

I worry about frank martin sticking around if he has any success whatsoever.

Midseason firings with no plan rarely turn out well.

I think RP was failure here at KSU, but the midseason firing looks completely lost and bush league.

Why would you fire a guy midseason to hire someone just as &@#%ing bad (Dimel)?  Insanity.

Oh well I think KSU athletics can be summed up in the following:

Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Don't underestimate the power of the dollar.  GP, as with everyone, has his price.  All we have to do it meet it.

He's already warmed up the "no fan support" bus.
