Number of times he has looked super cool sitting on the bench in a suit: like a million.

Bill Walker was clotheslined by Houston Rockets star Tracy McGrady during exhibition season, with the Celts rookie bouncing back to his feet in anticipation of a scuffle. Coincidentally, Walker dressed for his first NBA game last night, though he ultimately didn’t play.
“I just thought since they nearly had a fight the last time, this might be a good time to get (Walker) some minutes - just kidding,” coach Doc Rivers said.
Rivers nonetheless, in anticipation of a physical game, thought the conditions would be a good fit for Walker’s hard-slashing style.
“I just really think he’s busted his butt,” Rivers said, “and he’s very competitive. If Paul (Pierce) happens to get in foul trouble, then we’ll need somebody.”

The Celtics are looking at Antonio McDyess. If he signs here Billy will most likely be headed to the D league.

Bill played in his first game tonight: 2 pts., 1 PF, 1 TO in 4 minutes.

They're going to replace a 2/3 with a 4/5? They seem like two very different players.

They wouldn't be replacing Bill they would be replacing the roster spot. It would be either Bill, JR, or Cassell, it could potentially be Patrick O'Bryant as well but he has been getting some tic. They won't release Cassell and it seems unlikely that they would send down their first round draft pick. They are loaded at the 2/3 positions, they have 6 different guys that can play those positions while they only have 3 big men.
They have to wait 30 days to sign McDyess so it is nothing pressing, but as it looks now he may be the victim of a numbers game if it goes down.
