Not a horrible idea. Need to put us in a position to play our real rivals (UT, duh) every season.

Horrible idea, for KSU. Great idea for OU and UT.

From the Power of Positive Thinking Dept.:
Kansas State coach Ron Prince noted Monday that his defense came within a field goal of shutting out No. 4 Oklahoma in the second half Saturday.
Too bad the Wildcats gave up 55 points in the first half to the Sooners. The K-State defense now ranks 110th nationally in yards allowed.

Why would we want to get rid of MU and CycloneCarl and get Texas and Tech. Weird.

If the dominance continues for another few years, say through 2012 then they might start considering it but it's still too early. All it will take is a coaching change at Texas,Oklahoma and/or Texas Tech to throw things upside down for a little while. The fact the north beat the south last year head to head says the north is still competitive enough.

I'd love to play our "real Rivals"...I wonder if there is a way to schedule USC yearly as well.

You get one cross-division rival that you play every year. I call dibs on Iowa State or Baylor.

Horrible idea for any team in the North. Even Nubs, though they are too divorced from reality to realize it.
