Title: Barber time
Post by: featurethefullback on October 25, 2008, 09:58:37 PM
More info from the Barber.   Apparently Jonny boy was in for another dye job last week.   He was in good spirits.  Evidently, he was bragging how he and his appointed athletic director have devised a scheme to save Ronny's job.   They have written to club level and other high priced  seat holders and given a november deadline for them to renew at a given price.   The obvious idea is that they will collect from these people now and then avoid the risk of non-renewal when Ronny is not fired.   Jonny is very proud of himself.   Almost considered another color for his hair.   Seems to think that the rest of the season ticketholders are a bunch of ignorant fools.    He also said that not very many people had contacted K-State to complain about Prince.   Same attitude as that of the Athletic Director when he did not notice that 45,000 people were gone after 3 quarters of the Texas Tech game.   These haircuts are getting me depressed.  I am considering becoming a hippie.   Sounds to me like Jonny boy and the athletic director need a flood of letters and emails.

I am one of those that have until November to renew my club level suite chair licenses.   I sent a nice long e-mail to Krause and Wefald saying I would not renew if RP was coaching again next year.
Reasons:
1.  55 points?  In a half?  That is UNREAL!
2.  I have never heard anything good about RP.  I have heard many things about the poor way he treats people, his arrogance, etc.  I haven't heard ANYTHING positive from people who deal with him.
3.  If we do not get GP now, it will be too late.  He will be coaching a BCS school next year.  I have heard through sources that he IS interested in KSU.   If we give RP another year, GP will be gone.
4.  Is RP even recruiting?   Our recruiting list is awful.  Even Gates from gopow has said there just isnt much going on.
5.  Our coaching staff consists of guys from the KCAC and north dakota state.  Tabor?  Sterling?  RP can't keep a decent coach.
6.  We have some guys starting on defense that couldn't crack the 2 deep at Fort Hays State.

I hope to God Krause is just putting on a show for the public and is working behind the scenes.  If RP is back we will finish with a horrible recruiting class, and after we eek out a 5-7 season next year we will be looking at 2 or 3 wins tops in 2010.

This is depressing.   :scared:

Next season is Prince's exit year: slam-dunk senior NFL talent at QB; lots of jucos who've had a year to try to fit in; a Big XII that simply can't be anything but worse than it was this year.  With a bit of luck Ronnie wins 7, sees the writing on the wall, and bolts for another gig just prior to everything here falling down around his ears.  Of course where that leaves the KSU program is another matter entirely ....

No, this is not Jim Wooldridge Round 2.  Jim was a nice guy that was simply in over his head.  Jim is and always was a gentleman.  No one ever called him arrogant or delusional.

Bald face lie.

I'm only talking about about the Mickey Mouse way the situation is being handled again by Wefald when he insults the intelligence of the fan base by being completely untruthful about people not contacting the University and AD to voice their lack of support when in reality they are being inundated right now.

He publicaly made these same types of ridiculous statements during the Wooldridge debacle leading to the year five extension.  They were printed in fact - wish I could track them down.

One of the things that this plan does not address is the huge fundraising effort going on.  But if the above is true then we have officials in place that are schemers and liars.
