So, you know those short stories or novellas that are written entirely in the form of e-mails back and forth between the characters? What if you made a BBS site that was read only/locked or whatever and wrote a story into the posts. Like, maybe a zombie story where the characters are posting on a sports BBS and then, based on their posts, you see that zombies are starting to kill people. Like, at first some of the posters are all, "WHOOAAA! WTF, are you guys seeing this on CNN!?" and then responses from various people about how it's fake and then a poster posts something earie about zombies and then you get sporadic posts including zombie stories until finally there is just one poster that can't get a response from anyone. I don't know, just thought of it. May have already been done. Anyway, you put that up and see if it gets any pub, you know?
