Title: New shoes?

I need to get some new shoes and saw these the other day. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger but wanted to see what you guys thought first...

I highly doubt those laces are even functional

Alright, so far we have two valid responses/concerns. Just to clarify...I don't plan on using these shoes for high level activities (running, jumping, etc.). I just need a pair of everday shoes-taking the dog for a walk, running to the store, etc.

Def buy the shows.  Notice the old-school (80-90s) script "Cats" on the tongue.  For that alone they are worth it.

I've seen those.  The laces can be tied and untied, but are sewn into the sides where they would normally lace through the loops.
