It's our only shot of outscoring opponents because our offense cant do it alone.

We recruit guys who can block kicks..............................................

This thread was really confusing for me.

I opened this thinking that this thread was about us preventing CU from being exposed to a threat of some kind....like we were their body guard, or maybe a just a friendly neighbor, IDK.  But, that is not what it was at all.

exactly... TT longsnapper sucks and archs the ball taking an extra half second to get to the punter. plus their punter takes an extra step.. we could have blocked their kick every time... too bad we only got them to punt once   :rolleyes:

We blocked one last year against them.  As I remember their punter was terrible.

We will need at least one score (or a score set up by great field position) from special teams to win this game.  With this defense, its essentual that "wefense" sets us up for points.
