Because they simply don't give a rat's ass about getting better. The post-game comments I heard left me with the distinct impression that Prince & Co. are just fine with eeking out a 1-point win over a I-AA team that played well enough that KSU should have lost by a couple of TDs. Isn't this like Bill Snyder's lesson #1? If you don't give a &@#%, you won't be improving much at all.

Defensive POG Ian Campbell:
So, can the Wildcats celebrate?
"Absolutely," Campbell said. "A win's a win. A lot of D-I teams playing a I-AA may have backed down and said, 'I can't believe this is happening.' But they're a solid team. I knew they had playmakers, and they did a good job."
DT Quentin Echols:
“People might look at it like we should be ashamed, that we should be sad,” Echols said, “but at least we know we can win a close game.”

Relax. Wait for the results of the next 2.
Lets see if they can run the ball and protect a little better.

All that matters is the W. Jim Tressell I believe won that award a couple years ago.

Do you think it would be better if they had lost?
A 1 point win doesn't seem to have woken them up.
