What was the line on the Illinois State game?

What was the line on the Illinois State game?
Either look it up, or figure it out...
Just don't be such a dumbass.
:ku:
-
I like Texas, FAU, and Colorado.
-
By the way, 19, I'm fading MOST of the Big XII this coming week.

Just don't be such a dumbass.
:ku:
It was far easier just to type that sentence out.

And, it was more fun to point out your stupidity regarding the great sport of football and collegiate betting lines, dumbass.
Figure it out yet?

I don't regularly look up betting lines. The only ones I usually care about are the ones involved in my pick'em contests and thats ranked teams' games.
Forgive me for setting off your insecure nature once again.

You've set off nothing, dumbass.
Since you are such an avid gay-u fan, why don't you tell us all what the line on that game was...
(hint: it was EXACTLY the same as the KSU-ISU line)

I didn't check the ku line. As I already explained, the only ones I check are ranked teams' games.
Why would I want to know the line so badly if I'm not gonna bet on it?
You just don't learn.

It's impossible to learn from you, dumbass.
I don't know why you wanted to know the line so badly, but you're the dumbass who asked...
And, I can see why you'd never have interest in the line on a gay-u game... When's the last time they were "ranked"?? About '95 or so, if I recall correctly...

"vegas still has some faith in us"
One of the most positive write-ups of the Cats I've seen in the pre-season rags was in The Gold Sheet Annual, a betting publication. Won't lay money one way or another on the game...mostly because I believe the line should be more around 20. Still, the 'cappers normally are right on, or not far from it. They don't set the lines by faith.

Brick - There wouldn't be a line for the Illinois State game as they are D1 AA. On an aside to this can you clear tihis up for me? Are you a Squawk Grad that loves to talk KSU football or what? I cannot, or struggle to understand, where you are comming from?????
As for the lines, I want some of that CU - CSU action!
As for the KSU line. I am not sure what we have. I am holding out the first game as an anomaly. Seems I remember losing to Marshall the same season we cleaned OU's clock. And speaking of that who in thier right mind outside of a homer would of put money on KSU to beat the spread against OU let alone win the game by 4 TD's (Pause here in remeberance of one of my favorite all time KSU games I attended).

a LOT of good handicappers, including myself, won a boatload taking the points in that game.
you see, K-State was getting 14 points from the oddsmakers, had a GREAT team by the end of the year (see 38-9 drubbing of a good NU team in Lincoln), and hadn't lost a game by more than 10 points in in something like ELEVEN YEARS. While I didn't expect us to win the game SU, I certainly had full faith that we would NOT get blown out after having two weeks to prepare, especially with the team that we had....
no charge.
:beerchug:
-
I'd bet it.
The margin will be closer to 30.
-
Anyone else think that OU Washington line is way too high?
-
Yep. I'd bet Washington, CSU, & Texas on those lines.
-
Early looks at lines I like...
Virginia Tech
Minnesota
Ohio State (will wait and see if it goes to 3)
Texas Tech
Cincinnati
Penn State
Colorado
The Washington-OU line is right about on. The Huskies have no running D and Peterson will wear them down. A bit of a home field advantage, but not much.

“The result, while surprising, doesn’t change my view of this Kansas State team,” says professional handicapper Tim Trushel. “I discount (games against Division 1-AA opponents) regardless of whether or not they’re winning by a lot, a little or even losing.
“In college football, you have these 19 and 20-year-old kids who you are asking a lot from. You can do all the coaching you want, but a lot of the time they’re just not up for a Division 1-AA opponent. I think a lot of the time these games can serve as a wake-up call and really spring the team to greater things.”
