This extension is simply locking Mangino in at ku before he can bolt for Ohio State, Texas, FSU, or Notre Dame and really hit the bigtime gold mine. Smart move by Perkins.

Those of you who thought Perkins wanted MM out had no clue at all. Perkins isn't stupid; he's seen the on-the-field improvements.

But, if you're talking about K-State, let me remind you that since Manbearpig has been the HC, the squawks have crossed the goal line in only one out of four games he's led the "Blue Wings Rising" against the Cats.

reality is that ku was able to shave costs in other areas of the football program, so this is income neutral.

they're putting in a feeding trough at gina's hawk talk show instead of letting him order off the menu.
