A Maryland fan told me Franklin was getting booed in his first game already.  FWIW.

I really like Dave Brocks style so much more... Franklin was more of a conservative type of coach to march down the field and settle for a field goal if worst comes to worst. From what I have seen from Brock is he is more open to letting Freeman throw downfield a whole lot more resulting in his high amount of yards with limited attempts.

the fact that Prince, despite his critics, has the stones to identify and release dead weight on his coaching staff is an awesome feeling.  it's nice to know that as long as Prince is in Manhattan we will have the strongest coaching staff in the league.

QFT.

Even if it means missing out on one of the top talents* in the state.

*Can you imagine the things ksu could do with him on offense? It blows my mind how amazing the O could be.   :crybaby:

despite the negators on this board, our o-line is just fine.  to date, they have been playing down to their competition in an effort to dumb down their blocking schemes.  i hope you guys like breakfast food because come B12 season there will be plenty of pancakes being served.

it's all part of the plan.  Maryland notebook, page 25.  In two years, U of M will have 23 juco's, 12 of which will qualify.  Mark it down.

BTW-Portis isn't starting for them?

i've got a friend who coaches the o-line for an nfl team.  he came over yesterday and we reviewed tape from saturday's game on my computer.  his opinion?  he said our o-line was one of the best in the country and that he would draft several of the lineman today.   take it for what it's worth but it sounds like a pending pancake storm brewing in the flint hills.

So he came over yesterday . . . so he coaches either the Giants or the Redskins O-Line or one of the teams playing tonight, or has a really fast jet???

yup - came over yesterday for an early breakfast of pancakes and coffee, and leftover steak from the night before.   i can't confirm the speed of his jet.  loves our line, says they all look like they smell like pancakes.

See thats where this story falls apart.

Had you ran into him at the Wafflehouse then it becomes legit.

I had some waffles (with chocolate chips  :lick:) for breakfast this morning.  Pondered whether Prince really has a scary smart master plan in place or whether he's full of crap.  Couldn't decide.
