Title: Andy Katz Top-50

Andy, who as a sports writer I have medium esteem for, has five Big-12 teams in the top 50 this year.  So I guess he thinks the B12 is going to be pretty good this year.  I would say a league with 5 top 50 teams should be about about #3 overall in the RPI.  His selections incluse:

2) ku
9) A & M
25) UT
29) TT

-and-

35) KSU

All these should be pretty much a lock for at-large berths in the dance.  I am getting syched for hoops, folks!

I think K-State could move higher than 35 pending Martins improvement once schools have to guard all five players! We should have 3 or 4 real scoring threats next year. Maybe one or two more depending on progress existing players have made with the new coach.JMO

I don't know if you're counting on Bennett to be a scoring a threat but if you are you shouldn't. He will be a good player for you guys but he will not be a scoring threat.

we don't exactly need another scoring threat. bennet will be a good post guy. he will play tremendous defense and we will have all the help we will need on offense.

I think by the time you see Bennette play this fall his offense will have improved. I predict more muscle on his frame plus I think he could be good for 10 points a game. Just a hunch. You know he is on a killer weight program! :beerchug: :beerchug:
