Who will you vote for?
-
I would like to nominate myself and I select 'lams as my running mate.
'ngon and 'lams: 2008 and still lovin' da hate.
-
Good thing I voted, just put the Messiah and Moses ahead! W00t! :ksu:
-
i'm down
-
The first plank of the ngon/lams platform is:
Bring back the good nacho cheez sauce. You all remember what that tasted like (well maybe not the youngsters on board). This thin tasteless mess they give you nowadays is nothing like the delicious viscous toxic yellow napalm of yesteryear that made nachos what they are. And all nachos must (MUST) include pickled jalapeño slices (not the soggy nast' ones, the crispy ones). I know the good brand, its Land-o-lakes. This Rico crap is killing America. I for one will not standby and let the rest of world close the gap on our snax superiority.

huge nacho fan here, these guys "Gehls" - they make the real deal.

Too bad half the messiah supporters aren't old enough to vote yet.
-
GOOD thing half of the McCain supporters are going to die of old age soon.
-
All they have to do is make it to November. Messiah supporters will still be 16.

Quite a few dead people voted in the last election, so why should that matter?

Been a tradition in Chicago.
Man, I can't remember, but I think I recall there being some important politician running for some office that came from the Chicago political machine. What the hell was his name?

Zing!!11!!

To be fair though, he usually just sought to disqualify all his competition rather than run an actual race against them.

Oh yeah, this straw poll doesn't include the all-important mob effect.
-
I'd lean libertarian, but Barr just seems like a Republican-lite.
Obama it is.
-
We need another poll that asks "If you aren't voting for Obama, is it because he's black?"
That's the funny part about national polling results for this election....it's isn't like someone is going to admit to the pollster that they hate "n-worders."

The "Honorable" Richard Daley. Vote early, vote often!!!

Should also ask "If you are voting for the messiah, is it because he is black?" Same number (at least) would answer that if they were to be truly honest.

If you are not black, there isn't any wrong with voting for him BECAUSE he is black, only the opposite. Remember when use to lock them up in chains and steal their kids from them...and then after that stopped, do you remember when we use to make them drink from separate drinking fountains and wouldn't let them vote. It's 'cause of all that stuff.

Obama it is.
I've never encountered a big-government libertarian before.

Ah yes, the "Bradley Effect". Might be real, Obama had better hope it isn't.

Oh it's real alright. It's the only reason the Crypt Keeper and the sports reporter broad are in this thing.

Amazingly racist comment

Barr is pretty close.

Err, you mean: it's the only thing that's making it appear that Obama is still in this thing. Methinks you misunderstand the phenomenon.

If you are not black, there isn't any wrong with voting for him BECAUSE he is black, only the opposite. Wrong. Either way you are dividing by racial lines rather than voting on issues.
Nevermind the fact that obama wouldn't be the guy they should vote for because of slavery anyway. Remember, mom was white and dad was African and never from a slave family.

You know what divided racial lines? Slave cabins. Yep, those little shanties where we kept them when we weren't working them for 14 hours a day. We also kinda divided by race when we made them go to different schools.
Guess which school you went to back then if one parent was white and one was black? Yep, the black one. Guess which guy got hung for trying to hit on a white girl, the one with two white parents or the one with one black parent and one white parent? You think that if you explained that you had one white parent they'd let you use the white bathroom? Maybe let you use just the sink or something?
John McCain knows all about it. When he was in school there was still segregation. He has first-hand knowledge of what this country has done to black people.
Electing a black president (that's what you are even if one parent is white....white people made that rule, not black people) would do more good by that single symbolic act than any other political event in this country in last 4 decades.

That would be true right up to the point where a Democratic Congress began rubber-stamping Obama's leftist policies. The we really would be in for the worst economic times since the Great Depression and the smart young black guy would be branded a fool. Said branding would cast a pall on AAs seeking the highest office in the land for a generation.
Seeing an AA win office on a national ticket would be a truly great thing but only if he or she brings along policy positions that will advance the nation. Otherwise the (unfair) blowback will be a huge setback. Good idea but Obama's not the right guy.

Do you think Colin Powell will ever run?

No.

Because we divided along racial lines yesterday means we can do it today. Nice Logic.

why do you hate black people, dood? :dunno:
