Kansas State linebacker Brandon Archer (Butkus Award) and offensive lineman Greg Wafford (Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy) have both been named to preseason watch lists for three of the nation’s top postseason awards for college football players.

There is going to b some good compeition in those awards i dont think Wafford has much of a chance but i think Archer might hav a chance.

Is anybody else suprised by Archer's success? I thought that for the past couple of years he had done nothing but underachieve but it seems that since the arrival of Coach Prince he's a new player. Coincidence?

ive always thought that he has been slightly overrated, which i guess = underachieve, but hes a solid linebacker.

Archer was a complete stud last year and was pretty respectable in his sophomore year. I guess you haven't been paying very close attention.
