I use a nasal irrigator from time to time, but I don't think anyone would want a video of it. It's not nearly as nice and pretty as this lady makes it out to be. Also be careful blowing your nose when you're done.

Is that a joke??? Because I'm at a stage in my life where I'll try anything!

Any time I have clogged sinuses, I eat B dub's (BWW) wings with spicy garlic. It's not as as hot right off the bat as some of the other sauces, but it leaves a burning sensation afterwards. You should bring a pack of kleenex with you.
For when you need additional sinus clearage, get jalapenos with them, and don't use any dipping sauce (like ranch.)
Tasty and clears your sinuses. win win imo.

It works and it is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. there are points when my sinuses are so bad(now) when a good netty cleansing is better than orgasm.

This makes me very happy.

Dude seriously like 14 bucks for the whole kit at Osco.

or you can do it the cheap way
A little sea salt (do not use table salt) and warm water. 1 teaspoon per cup of water
and find a wter bottle(bike rider style) and stick the nozzle up your nose works the same.

It seems somewhat like it has potential to turn disastrous in a hurry... but I'll be damned if I don't give it the ol' college try!

Don't use sea salt! There can be algae in it that can cause other sinus problems.
Don't use IODIZED table salt.
It recommends using sterile salt, but that's more expensive than crack.
I use non-iodized table salt. It works just fine.
It's amazing how much dust and lint a person can get in their nose often.
If you get a lot of sinus infections, have the doc check for a deviated septum. Those can be factors in repeated and chronic infections. If you are willing to have surgery to correct it, many of those infections can go away.

Thanks for the info. Getting ready to go to the store here shortly.

For the short term, it would likely be ok. It has a tendency to cause irritation to the sinuses with prolonged use.

Don't get any of the above! Trying to do it yourself is recipe for disaster. Go get the kit at the drug store with the little bottle and the packets. Otherwise it will be a very painful experience.

I once filled a balloon up with water and used that.

That's what you get for using 2 tablespoons of salt for a cup of water. It's 1 tsp for 2 cups of water. That is equivalent to a 0.9% saline solution, which is the same salinity as the body. Too much or too little salt can make it hurt like hell!

Do you guys just use tap water... do you boil it?

That's what I've used. I don't filter it, but I probably should just in case.
