Run or Pass More in 2006??
-
Fumble.
-
I think it will be a balanced attack, with a bit more passing. Something in the range of 55-60% passing.
-
I think it'll still be a little more running.
I think Prince would love to ram it down people's throats if he had the horses up front.
-
I have a feeling it'll be more pass this year, due to the fact that we'll see a lot of third-and-long situations. :blank:

In his last three seasons at UVA:
2005: 450 rush, 363 pass
2004: 550 rush, 284 pass
2003: 439 rush, 466 pass
2003 was Schaub's last season.

Wali Lundy was a good RB.
-
Whichever we are best at.

I am not sure of the number of KSU offenseive plays this year, but the distribution should be about . . .
50% run
25% pass
25% punt

Sounds like ku's offense the last two years .... lead by that offensive genius, Mark Mangino.

I thought this thread was about KSU's offense not Mark Mangino.
But since you brought it up . . . Look up ku's offense in 2003. If you are going to blame Mangino for the last couple of years, then you have to give him equal credit for 2003.
So what's your point?

2003
Mangino 6
KSU 42

I think our rush attempts to pass attempts will end up pretty balanced.
Keep in mind the past two years Virginia had a true dual threat QB in Hagans, he even played WR and was a returner as a younger player. Neither Meier nor Freeman are running QBs.
Plus, our Oline and backs will be going through an adjustment period from a lot of 2 back power/option football to 1 back zone scheme.
