doesn't make a ton of sense, so my vote is yes, it must be legit.
The guy has a friend of a friend who is close to the program but doesn't have strong affiliations one way or the other.
I just have a problem believeing that either Ames or Manhattan would let a conference home game and the economics that come with it go without a big fight.so does it make sense or not, because you kinda disagreed then agreed. i don't see any benefit to this potential game, so, to me, it doesn't make a ton of sense.

i don't care the "the clones" travel well
imo, any conference game at a nuetral site is incredibly stupid for ksu.
KSU v ISU series at Arrowhead?

Very legit. Dare I say, too legit to quit? Expect official word from Kstate/Istate this week... maybe tomorrow?? :scared:
Interesting, starting next season?
Interesting, starting next season?
yes
How could it be a good deal for K-State? Is Krause expecting 40k+ K-State fans in Arrowhead?
:dunno:
Essentially, you have 2 games in two years generating revenue for the AD instead of 1.

Christ this is lame. Now we have some kind of football rivalry with Iowa St :flush:
Not exactly the kind of company that you want to keep it you catch my drifty
K-State vs. Iowa State.... the battle for 5th place in the North. Get your tickets now, folks.

There are alot of casual KSU fans in KC that would go to Arrowhead for a game, but they do not want to drive 2+ hours to go to Manhattan for a game.
:dunno:
There's no way though that it would affect this year, correct? We can't move a scheduled home game this late of notice to Arrowhead I'm assuming because season ticket holders would be furiousI doubt it, we already have the tickets for ISU @Manhattan.

QFT.
The first game is scheduled for Oct. 3, 2009, with the second on Oct. 9, 2010.
Why did KSU agree to this? Seriously, what can be gained from playing ISU in KC?

I understand that, but will this really be that profitable? That is, more profitable than a conference home game?

Not for Aggieville. So how many home games are we down to? 4-5. I liked the good old days when football games were played in the towns where the colleges were located.
BTW, I live in KC.
JS . . . was that Hoaxtard questioning moving a home game??
That from a fan of a school that moved a winnable ou and a winnable mu game to Arrowhead??
A fan of a school that moved their rivalry game with Missouri to be played in Missouri for at least two consecutive years??

Now 30 minutes without a response to my question about the OU "series".
You hitch your wagon to Ron Prince and Kaptain Krause's star, and they parlay that into some sort embarrasing rivalry series with a team with zero national recognition and the losingest record in Big 12 conference play (or second-losingest, who really cares). What a joke.

Straight to the bottom, boys!

Hey fcKSUtick,
This is an opportunity for two of the Big 12 institutions who often find themselves on the short end of the stick in terms of revenue to maximize revenue generating potential and essentially eliminate a road game off of each of their schedules. Both fanbases travel well and the game will likely be very well attended. WHo is to say what the profile of both programs will be in 2009. This may be the Big 12 North title game.
