Red headed women are never mediocre.  They are either smoking hot or incred. ugly.  It's, like, science.  I hope the uglys go extinct (like the giant sloth) and the good looking ones stay around.  Just imo.

Asava is correct, there are some redic. hot redheads.  Also some redic. ugly.  Brunettes and blondes tend to deviate less from the mean imo.

SD is absolutely right.  Take Kathy Griffin for example. Wow, very ugly.  Nice tates but wow.
