Title: OU closes the videoboard gap . . .

In response Texas A&M and Texas announced that they will tear out their megaobards and install super megaboards . . . they both said they will not stand for this naked aggression by OU.

The video portion is only 1/3 of the board.  Is the actual video portion bigger than the prev screen?

Actually the whole screen is video, they just do what we do, and use parts of the board for score and game stats during the game, but when they want the big video entry they can use the whole board.  (Very Moosehawk post there)

I'm boycotting McDonalds until BK takes down that stupid "scores from around the country" part of the video board and just plays actual game footage.  It's ridiculous.  What's the point in spending a couple million dollars on "fan upgrades" if on two of the small boards all they ever seem to show is a Best Buy sign, and the big board's actual game footage is no bigger than before.   :chainsaw:

big board's actual game footage is no bigger than before.

So there is no game footage played there at all during games? Because that is what was there before: nothing.

Every giant video board does the same thing, even the lame Texas board and the goofy vertical CrownVision at the K — some of the board will always be used for game info during action. Pregame/halftime/etc it will go full.

I know.  All those examples demonstrate how fracking retarded athletic directors are.  BK should get some wide screen cameras and start filling that video board with picture, and NOT take up room with stupid scores that should be on the those two ribbons in the south endzone.
