Whether they were being purposely racist or not, how could they not know that this would cause outrage?

Hopefully they just didn't care, which they shouldn't.  Then they'd head right up to the top of my favorite country rankings (#1).

It's not funny, but it's not outrageous either.  If the spaniards were mocking a stereotype it would be another story.

spaniards are pretty culturally insensitive.  mexicans are worse, ime.  i'm not sure i'd call either truly racist, though.  they aren't bill self.

Too many uptight americans.

Blackface is funny.  They banned all the cartoons with blackface.  Thats an entirely different topic and has websites devoted to it.
