More Hyvee vs Dillons, and it's not even a discussion. You will love the new Hyvee btw. Same with the new movie theater going in over by MTC.

Dollar General vs Walmart is what you should be comparing.

Has anybody been on McCall lately theres a new Freddys Frozen Custard going up next to the Firestone building. I'm sure this one will do just as well as Shake's did. :flush:

I prefer buying anything fresh (produce/meat) at Hyvee or Dillons(Bakers.)  Hyvee is ridiculously priced, but pristine in comparison to Wal-Mart.  But I avoid buying anything down the grocery isles if I can get a trip to Wal-Mart in..

Wal-Mart is awful.

Dillon's has an actual butcher.

True.
But I'd still rather go to Wally World because they have almost everything and almost everything there is priced right if not the cheapest in town. I like to go late at night or early in the morning though cuz the wal mart crowd is :curse:   :yuck: :ugh:  :ohno: :hahano: :banghead: :barf: :bitchslap: :bonk: :slap:  :twobirds:
and the cashiers   sometimes Ill just throw in an extra penny for laughs when they make change

QFT.

Try going there in Garden City for "back to school" shopping. Brutal.

Actually Freddy's is decent. I've eaten at the one in Wichita and Hutch.
They have a "full fast-food type menu": burgers, dawgs, chicken, etc. as well as the treats.

Shake's, OTOH, was grossly overpriced and had a VERY limited menu.

Thing I really hate about Wal-Mart is they find out how many lanes they need open at a given time, and then open 2 or 3 less.  Hy-Vee you almost never wait in line.
