I think so. How do they expect the people in the burbs to relate to such a dumb show. I don't even know what a cab is really? And could you at least make the cab a little more stereotypical say like the one in Plains, Trains & Automobiles? If anyone knows of a worser trivia show, I'd like to know. TIA
-
i love it. imo, steve dave would make a great cash cab host.

Yeah, if the questions revolved around bad music and what to do in Nebraska I guess? :poke: (ftp://:poke:)

pretty sure the host doesn't come up with the questions/answers

its not that bad of a show. i never ridden in a cab, but never found it hard to relate to a show where they ask you questions for money.

Why not cash combine then or cash rickshaw? Dumb, it's just dumb.

I keep thinking a good combination of Cash Cab and Taxicab Confessions would make for great TV.

Jeopardy. A trivia show where you give the answer then ask the question, how long it take for them to figure out that concept.

I've always wanted to see someone say "Is it [whatever]?" rather than "Who is...?" or "What is...?"

I love cash cab. The looks on those people's faces when he turns on the crazy lights and music at the beginning are priceless. They're all like:  then :excited:
-
My roommate and I usually watch Cash Cab when it's on in the afternoon. Yesterday we were just sitting there somewhat watching it when Ben Bailey asked a question that mentioned K-State. It was something like "Home to Kansas State University, what is the name of the city nicknamed "The Little Apple"? I was all  :woohoo: :ksu: :excited:
-
Did they get the answer right? :kstatriot:

CC is a great show. Host is pretty funny. Questions are entertaining.
CC After Dark is even better (drunk contestants).

Great show

I keep waiting for the guy to cause a huge wreck because he isn't watching the road. Love the show.

yeah I think they usually screen you to get onto the show and it says that at the beginning of the show.
-
yup, there's the legal MUMBO JUMBO that has to be cleared first.

So are you saying they don't want it to turn into a Taxicab Confessions?

LOL am watching it now

A guy from the Lit' App' sent an email to Craig Fergusen.... And he read it on air.
-
My God what glorious television.
Would you bozos risk it all and go double-or-nothing on a video bonus question?
I sure as hell would. :hope:
-
I'd play it safe. :ugh:
-
The government should step in and do something about his driving. It's much more distracted than any cell phone user.
-
Great show. Would keep a sharp lookout for suspicious cabs if I lived there.
-
Love that show, I pretty much dominate it. Depends how much $$ i had if I went for double or nothing
-
love it when contestants try to high five each other after every question and fail miserably every time

Are you saying if you only had 100-300 you would go for it? Or if you already had over a grand you would keep it? I've always wondered if there was a strategy to it....
I would always take the money, only exception being is if there are 4 people in the care and were only getting like 100 each.

love this show

Do you have to pay the guy your fare?

Do you have to pay the guy your fare?
Rookie question. This is answered at the start of every episode, as long as you get no more than 2 wrong you win the money and a free ride. If you miss 3 he drops you off wherever you are.
-
It's good show, but the questions are definitely on the easy side. Jeopardy! is the best show in history, and even better on DVR.

Love CC but Win Ben Stein's Money FTW, no others ever came close.
