It will be much, much worse than the beatdown Fresno State put on KSU two years ago. I'm talking about USF hanging half-a-hundred on the hawks.

Have you even looked at what they have lost from last year's team due to graduations, academic problems and such? They won't be a picnic in the park, but it is in Memorial.

I agree ... even with some injuries, with that 5 star depth top to bottom ... ku by 35.

Wow. How could I have overlooked the well documented home field advantage ku enjoys? That place is an opponents worst nightmare.

Wow, Jesus...that article was such a depressing look at the closing of the gap and how far we have fallen. At that time, we were greatly disappointed with a 44-10 thrashing at Baylor. ku could barely get any first downs and our lines just destroyed them...then the last two years, we've watched our teams lose at the lines to almost everyone. I hope the good line play is back this year...the faces are the same as last year...let's just hope the skills are better. Oh, and let's hope we thrash ku and beat Baylor on the road again...but hoping for that is kind of a given.
By the way, look at our schedule...NU and Texas in Manhattan. In the glory years, this would be our every other year setup for a title run.

Still waiting for ku fans to realize that their success is not actually because they are getting better - but actually because K-state and Nebraska have gotten worse.

I don't know if USF will roll them like you are thinking, but I do believe that the Bulls win that game. Leavitt is a better coach than Mangina and Gay-U has a road trip to Lincoln following that game.
I expect the fags to be looking ahead to playing the corncobs and will get a rude awakening from a quality USF team. Don't forget that the squawks will be coming off of an ugly road loss on ESPN natl. TV to the Toledo Rockets...

I love ku fans that point to other teams losing a lot off of last years team ..... then say they are not really that concerned that they only have 10 of 22 starters back.
USF is a good team. They are ranked higher in most preseason mags/polls that i have seen. The game is in Lowrents which should make the game pretty close to even.
Between USF and Toledo, ku will lose one of those games, and IMO the chances of them going 0-2 is greater than 2-0.

No, actually all I have to do is look at last years ku-KSU box score. Kind of like every other year but one in the last 13.

Yeah, ku splits the last two years with us...during which time we've had our worst teams in 15 yrs. Last year's team appears to be their (at least short term) peak year. They now return no defensive playmakers from a team that was all D last year. Sorry, ku, I know you're excited about beating a scrub team in a bowl last year (and, hey, I wish we would have been able to play a scrub team in a bowl last year), but losing so much of your top talent is no recipe in college ball for improving. Sure, your schedule is weaker...but so is your team! Can your optimism and save it for the hoops arena...like you normally do.
