also good, really like the album as a whole.

I've seen 'em SEVEN times... One of the most amazing live rock n roll shows you can imagine. Nothing flashy, just good old fashioned, in your face rock n roll.
First time was in KC in '96.. Have since seen them in SF, Miami, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Houston and Dallas.
Make a trip somewhere when they tour the States.
Any questioins about the band, just ask. I've got bootleg concerts, a bootleg copy of their unreleased "MTV Unplugged" and an original copy of "Definitely Maybe" on the Creation Label before they signed with Sony.

I'm jealous.
Always wanted to see them, shied away from travelling bc I was always worried about a Liam no show, but since they've appeared to maybe sober up some their recent live stuff sounds much better. I'll have to try and make it to a chicago show someday since they don't hit the midwest much at all.

I know what you're saying, HOWEVER... the absolute best experience of them all was in Miami in 2003 when Liam had a sore throat and wanted to perform, but couldn't.
Noel rallied the band, played a couple of songs that he was to do lead vocals on anyway, then proceeded to play the rest of the show by himself with nothing but a stool and an acoustic guitar. Absolutely phenomenal, and I feel very lucky to have witnessed that.
At any rate, get the first two albums and Masterplan if you don't already have them. Still the best work, although it's all good imho.

oh i've got them,
Masterplan is great, I am the walrus is great, acquiesce should have been on an album as with The Masterplan.
also sad song should have been on one probably my favorite "noel song".
a noel accoustic set would be great.

I'd be happy to burn you the live concerts or MTV unplugged if you'd like... just PM me if ya want.
