Title: Who's got the top bball program in the state?
Post by: TheShocker on August 17, 2006, 02:47:53 PM
The SHOCKERS are #1 baby! You guys suck (might be better with Huggins) and kansas will get bitch slapped by the NCAA (aw, no first round losses) so that leaves the one, the only, Shockers of Wichita State.

I think we can all agree that Wichita St. is a non-issue.

And you're a retard if you think ku basketball will lose post-season.

Football maybe, but no way basketball does.

WSU a non-issue? Please. How far did ku go in the last tourney? How about KSU? That's what I thought. And don't compare me to the mentally handicapped. That's not fair to them. BTW, I was fishing. I know ku won't get a post-season ban in hoops, they are one of the NCAA's golden cows.

One Sweet Sixteen in 20 years, and all of a sudden, WSU fans show up.  Really, even K-State has that.

ku basketball didn't do anything deserving a post season ban.

And one year isn't a sign of consistency. Do better than ku for a few more years and I'll concede.

Until then you're the third ignored little brother playing with action figures while we're in our rooms banging the jersey chasing media.

If this is ISASO, it's a slightly less annoying version of himself.

Let me fix that for you:

"ku's self report candy-coated what was done to deserve a post season ban for basketball"

Cash changed hands, impermissable recruiting, extra benefits, and LOIC.  These things coupled with the football stuff may result in the hammer being dropped on hoops as well.  I guess we'll know in a few weeks.

it hasnt just been one year for wsu.  they have been improving every year.  obviously they arent as good as ku yet and they may not be as good as kstate next year, although hopefully we will find out in vegas, but its hard to say they are the ignored little brother after they were the only team in the state to win a postseason game in the last 2 years.  unfortunately for wsu it is only getting more difficult to compete with ku and kstate now that huggins has arrived.  id love to see ku grow a pair and actually play wsu again though.

Palease! One good season does not a program make! LOL  The Shockers might have a chance at K-State next year but not the year after! If they played ku 10 times they might beat them once. Even KSU with the Wolley would have beaten WSU 7 times out of ten. IMHO. WSU has improved much with Turgeon but are still not a big 12 quality program. Should be interesting all the way around though! :beerchug: :beerchug:

"Who's got the top bball program in the state?"

Back to the topic at hand, ku until it's proven on the court to be otherwise.

Now back to the regular bulletin board bs.

Based on NC's, Saul's got it right.  FHSU has more NC's than ku, KSU, and WSU combined, and we have the most recent.

If it's head-head, I'll obviously concede 8)
