Can you imagine what it would be like to be a KSU fan right now with the state of the football program if our basketball program hadn't become elite again? I mean, I can always come over to the 'gon board and check out the newest 5* recruit listing KSU as a fav and instantly turn my frown upside down. GO KATTZ!

ku brings in the #2 recruiting class and will start 2 McDonald All-Americans.
KSU brings in the worst non-mid-major recruiting class in the nation and has a roster that looks like a 7th grade rec team.
Have fun finishing 9th in the Big XII next year.

Great thread! Pretty much had the same conversation with a few other Katfanz this weekend over a few brews. It's like...out with the old, in with the new. We were all getting pretty bored of football anyway. Big 12 north champs, bowl game, 11 wins every year :blahblah:
Now it looks like it will be Basketball Champs and NBA picks as far as the eye can see. :beerchug:

This is a good argument. On the one hand it kind of sounds like Deloreon (good convo. starter for Rusty's neighbor UPDATE PLEASE) and on the other hand you get almost the whole name of each team without really adding any length to the work or making it harder to say Florida by itself.

well, since duke is our sister school in basketball and academics (especially our sister medical schools) i have a hard time throwing them under the bus like you just did. i find it disrespectful to them, our sisters in academia and athletics (siaaa).

I remember once when we had the #2 recruiting class and started 2 McDonald All-Americans. We went 20-12 and lost in the second round to Wisconsin.
