Title: Today is the day that the PS3 died
Post by: Saulbadguy on July 14, 2008, 03:15:26 PM
Ouch - Final Fantasy XIII on XBox 360.  Numerous XBL improvements, and netflix. Wonder what Sony has in store for tomorrow.

It'll be interesting... The other thing of note is that FF XIII Will be on Xbox in NA and Europe, but if I understand correctly, not Japan, which is interesting.

So far, besides the FF XIII news, M$ has done nothing but rip off a bunch of previous ideas.

I hope the rumors about a FF VII remake are true for tomorrow, but we will see.

still the best BD player on the market for the money, by a long shot.

what does this even mean?

A bunch of the "innovations" that microsoft displayed today at their press conference were rip-offs off of other consoles.  An "eye-toy"-esque accessory, the idea of "Mii's"  (forget what Microsoft called them), and something that looks very similar to the XMB for Ps3's...  Just not very innovative ideas, but more adaptation.

/agree about the BD Player.

Still, they are good improvements.

good improvements and it's not like Nintendo invented the idea of an avatar...microsoft has shown to be the only company able to sucessfully  build a complete online entertainment experience on a platform.

True, I will give you that much.  If the PSN gets Cross-game chats and invites, I really think it will be near on-par with XBL, plus will be free...
