I like Packer.

Kellogg is the worst sportscaster in sports.  Maybe in all media.

They both suck, but it was long past due for Packer to be sent . . . packing.

He sucked, and was old . . . Captain obvious that sucked all the joy out of the game.

Packer has a unique gift.  He is somehow able to make fans of any and every team feel that he has some sort of personal vendetta against their school, players, and coaches.  He has carried this off for several decades without a hitch.  I applaud him.

My dislike of Packer is almost solely derived from the Captain Obvious/pulling BS out of his ass factor.   The guy provided virtually no true insight to the game, and made the most rudimentary facets of the game sound like you'd just seen basketballs version of the Mona Lisa . . . or he'd come up with something completely ridiculous like:

"Jones decided up in mid air that there was only 3 seconds left on the shot clock as he saw Smith open for a 3,  but knew that Smith only shot 28% from behind the arc with under 3 seconds left on the shot clock in the 1st half of games, so he decided to hit Riley cutting for the layup."  WTF!!!

They should replace Nantz with Gus Johnson. That would be the best group to call a game. It also shows CBS is willing to shed its awkward white man image.

Only the ones too dumb to realize Packer trashed everybody.  Granted, that's a lot of fans.  Anybody that has 300+ fanbases in the United States thinking he personally has it out for THEIR program gets an A friggin plus in my book.   :notworthy:
