I would kind of like a Special Election board and then scrap it.  IMO would simultaneously increase politics threads and endzone threads and scrapping it would be fine because the buzz would die substantially.

i asked for it.  you want to talk politics then go somewhere and talk politics.  don't cluster up my damn endzone dive with this crap.  
if i knew how to do it myself i would have.

and don't tell me just to not click on the damn threads, there's a million of them.  it's worse than what the powertards have done to our football/basketball boards.

I'm in favor of it.  But running to the mods to fix the board to your personal tastes is waaaay more powertardy than anything else.

no one has ever complained to me about it.  i just get sick of the RSS feeds Catsfan20052006 style crap that's begun lately and clogging up the Off Topic board.  Those threads have a Topic, it's Politics, they deserve a board of their own.

Anyone who would complain about this needs to go back to the powertard board.  I like the bantor that is expressed on both sides of the political spectrum even though it does get annoying at times :banghead: (ftp://:banghead:).  I don't think we need another forum.  It will run its course. Agree with both of these x eleventy.  I also think the political board will be really good in election year.

This will a major set back for McCain unless he can spin his way out of this Gramm gaff.  It shows how out of touch Congress is with the middle class voter.  Media does play the doom & gloom card to the hilt but saying this is a 'mental recession' is a bit much.
