"It's the most creative thing I've gotten from recruiters," says Boynton, who lists Duke, Florida, Texas, Kansas State, Memphis and Georgia Tech as his top choices. "They said I can grow into those roles."

No. That has to be wrong.

Thanks Yosh and SD!

To think Boynton could make the same mistakes as these guys did-
Nolan Smith @ Duke (he hates it there, Coach K washed up)
OJ Mayo @ USC (went from being the most hyped player in 8th grade, to the most hyped player as a college freshman and 2nd PG picked)
Noah @ UF (1 word for this clown- NBA bust and overall clown that gets no respect)
Augustin @ UT (Barnes ruined this kid's once bright NBA potential)
Rose @ Memphis (laughingstock of entire world right now, gets clowned by Chalmers [2nd rounder LMAO])
or
Beasley @ K-State - duh? consensus best player in america at any level, coached up by Dalonte Hill and Frank Martin from a young budding seedling.
Seems like the choice is pretty LOLABLE if you ask anyone. Can't wait to see you sportin the Elites Kenny!
Also notice his silent commit choice of jersey color :woohoo:

Excellent point 'lams. Now that we have Boynton all but wrapped up let's compare the Bill/Mike/Pullen/Sutton class to the Boynton/Judge/McGruder class. Pretty obvious this one blows that one out of the water imo. GreaterRCOAT!
:runaway:
-
yosh, could i get the same PM that Pete got? danke.
-
i think it's just GRCOAT, replacing the last GRCOAT. there can only be one GRCOAT and the class of Hill/Judge/Boynton/McGruder/Williams/Scott/Boyd will blow every other recruiting class ever out of the water. Fab 7 is gnarly.

I just hope that we can get them all to the NBA after one season so they can have that level of success and financial security. Luckily, with Frank and 'te we have proven NBA talent fertilizer.

I can't access the info from the office, but basically it was a confirmation of the original post from a second source. A premium recruiting service that talked directly to Boynton yesterday.
-
And just said we were on the list? Amongst how many others?

And just said we were on the list? Amongst how many others?
6 others. But we were definately the most elite of the group.

It's sucks that kusucks didn't become a better poster when he changed his name.
-
Who wants a time machine more...Uncle Rico so ha can go back and win state, go pro and hot tub it with his soul mate or Nolan so he can go back and commit to KSU?
I know it's Nolan so it was basically a rhetorical question.
-
Why does Nolan's mom have to be such a bitch?

Don't know. Maybe ask Stephon Hannah's mom. He wanted to play in Manhattan really bad also and instead ended up almost killed and drinking through a straw. Why do their moms hate them so much? I really feel bad for both of them :frown:

very cool.

That Duke was on his mind should come as no surprise. Boynton, a ball of energy on the court with a scoring prowess and improving all-around game, visited the Durham campus with his American Heritage teammates two weeks ago. While hosting the prolific scorer, Duke's Mike Krzyzewski, known for his corporate presentation skills, highlighted where he believes Boynton would fit within the Blue Devils' blueprint. First, a photo of Boynton's face appeared superimposed on the body of a 6-foot-10 NBA draftee's body shaking hands with commissioner David Stern. The next slide featured Boynton's face atop former Duke National Player of the Year Jason Williams' body as he cut down the nets from the '01 national title win. "It's the most creative thing I've gotten from recruiters," says Boynton, who lists Duke, Florida, Texas, Kansas State, Memphis and Georgia Tech as his top choices. "They said I can grow into those roles."
Really Coach K? Really?

2nd confirmation: Jeff Goodman from Fox Sports this morning.
(Thanks Rusty)
3 different sources in past two weeks. Think this is enough to make Gates given Boynton a call?
-
Of course not, it's the off season.

Just again proves that most high school athletes are complete retards. A non-retard would have been like "wtf, this is dumb, I'm going to K-State. L8r."
-
This calls for a Kenny Boynton Duke photoshop fark thread, does it not?
-
Someone needs to have Boynton sit down and discuss this DukE nonesense with Nolan :nono:
