All you really do is set your tactics for the next game, based on who you are playing. It will give you a slight bonus to reading pass vs reading run plays.
The other thing is putting your skill points to use when you level up. You get five skill points per level up. Then you can put them in str/agi/tackle/etc.
There is a ton of information in the FAQ forum if you are interested.

LOL, give him a couple games and he will be level 2, then you can put some more points in different things.
I always recommend you use your daily training to put directly into stamina.
Stamina is the driving force that determines how many plays you get per game. The more plays you get during the game, the more experience you gain from said game.
Place your skill points into something that directly affects the position you play, i.e. catching for receivers, speed for generally everyone, str for lineman on both sides, etc.

You will want to make sure you check your player every couple days when you get on a real team or it will give you an 'inactive' icon. Most player owners don't care to see that, which means you aren't setting the tactics, which again gives you a bonus to a certain type of defense which you use against the opponents defense.
Anyways, if you have questions, put them here or pm me or something. I'd be happy to point you to various threads on their board or give you information if I know it off the top of my head.

reminder to peeps that signed up:
make sure you sign your contract to one of three cpu teams so you are leveling up.
also-make sure you sign back in after your initial guy is made. I believe if you don't check it for a week or so (in the first month) it deletes your guy because it assumed you have abandoned your player.
I'm on the waitlist to own a team....it's a list with more than a thousand people ahead of me...eep.

Hey peeps- season 4 starts tomorrow (I think). Get your players ready and boost them up a couple levels if you already haven't.

Didn't update my peeps, now he is level 23 badass and I have a crap load of guys in the 10-13 area for backups on the team.

I've been playing spore the last few days...not overly impressed for all the hype it had...
It is basically a combination of games it tries to be..like it tries to be the sims, then it tries to be a RTS, then it tries to be a space adventure game. The space adventure is not too bad though, reminds me a lot of galactic civilization and the MOO series.
Still, stuns, you should play some GLB :p

Ok the more I play, the more annoyed I get... this sucks. I wanted this game to be something less than infuriating. It isn't. The gumbled up gui and no-hot keys for tabs/weapons is terrible. I also get my worlds attacked every 2 seconds, so either I have to go bail them out or lose my towns. On top of that, just like sims, I can't finish my quests because I'm babysitting my worlds so my friendship falls off and I lose my trade routes. hell I can't even complete enough to allow me a second ship to run around with. I'm reduced to using planet busters on enemy lands, which in turn pisses everyone off at me. :bootyshake: :bs:
I tried to play nice and not get in a war but they kept demanding money, soon I had no money and they demanded and got pissed cause I didn't have money to give. Immediate war on my ass....ugh.

Goalline blitz -- the damnedest most addicting game I play right now.
Create your own players, level up, and increase your stats over the season. A season is about 2 months long and we just completed the fifth season. Don't worry if you haven't created a player yet and you think you are behind. They create new leagues each season with caps so you aren't playing level 5 guys vs level 20.
BTW-if any of you have level 25 players + currently on GLB, pm me your username on here because I'd like to talk to you about joining my team - KSU Wildcats.

Doing financial work and recruiting everyday, not to mention training and setting the offense, keeps me very busy. I'd be glad to jump in and give you pointers where I can though.

Hey all you peeps that have players. Make sure you get them signed on a team. You can create an ad for your player now to help get the word out that you are available, if you'd like. It doesn't cost any player money.
...and if you haven't logged on in a month, you can still do that too and get your players back. They don't delete them. Just sign them up on a new team!
...and if you haven't played at all. Now is great time to get in...it is basically like playing ncaa football, except you check in every day and only check it out for about five minutes. :ksu:
I'm also still looking for more players 25+ to recruit to my team. We haven't filled up enough at this point. We are in what has to be the toughest conference at our level...these guys are good. We smash the competition in the other leagues without any problems, too. :ksu:

Apparently no one can write "every_manawildcat".com [without the "_" ] any longer or it gets changed over to hgtv through the board filter.
everymanawildcat still works but put the .com on there and your off to hgtv land.
