My son has been saying "Wall-E" (like the robot/ET) for the past week or so -- ever since he watched the preview.

The IMDB ratings usually start out fairly high then level out. I liked WallE. There were a lot of good things with it. Eve was a bit too Mac-like though. Made it fairily obvious (boot sounds and all). Fat humans were funny though.

For the record, I saw it and thought it was very mediocre as far as pixar movies go.   The whole first hour has no dialogue; so it's all physical comedy.   I think I just didn't like it because I saw it in topeka, and I've become too spoiled by Warren.

And someone around me had garlic breath so bad that someone actually asked them to stop breathing around 45 minutes in.

Pretty okay.

Ok, sorry I had WALL(E) then a game got canceled anyway:

WALL(E) is the best movie I've seen in the theaters in a loooooong time.  I seriously doubt that this movie will translate as well as the rest of the Pixar family to home with the only x-factor being the state of the theater (kids, whiny, etc.).  THIS IS NOT A KIDS MOVIE.  Like, at all.  You know how Toy Story was charming and kind of funny and had some jokes that only adults got but was mostly a non-stop action fun musical comedy time?  Yeah, this is not that.  This is like Gus Van Sant directing a lighter version of 2001: Space Odyessy's Third Act.

I really want everyone to see it and I don't want to get in to spoilers.
1) it plays out like an adult movie in terms of first act pace and emotion
2) it is unbelievably emotionally engaging
3) if you are a softy you will absolutely adore it.

GO &@#%ING SEE IT!

Good call.  That song at that exact time in Zoolander is one surprisingly perfect moment that is nothing like the rest of the movie.

Went to see it today. I felt really awkward, you know the being 16 and sitting in a movie theater with a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds can do that. With that being said, I would still go see it all over again. It was a really good movie.

I laughed!!!

I cried!!!

I took my son to see Wall-E, and it was not great, good but not great. No where near as good as Cars. The animation is outstanding, but if I had to give it an overall grade it would be a B-.
