Title: Reggie Walker
Post by: steve dave on July 01, 2008, 06:35:04 PM
Per Mr. Walker we are not only shooting for a Big 12 championship...BUT NC!  Loaded, deep, fast, big, commited, etc.  Of course, this is Reggie's MO.  Everytime I talk to him he's all  :ksu:

I'm trying to think of someone that has regressed more since their true freshman year.  Tetuan declined but he began playing as a RS-Fr.

Edit: saying regressed might be a bit tough, he has increased his tackle total every year, but he just doesn't seem like he's as good as he should be.  makes too many mistakes.

Team would have won a couple more last year if they were 100%

Shut your hole - he's on his third defensive coordinator and third different defense in the three years he's been here.

He's not known for his predicting skills: http://youtube.com/watch?v=XAfSgoDbvps (http://youtube.com/watch?v=XAfSgoDbvps)

Ya, I know.  That's why I noted that this was his MO.  J-Mart told me the same thing about Reggie.

I think I speak for everyone here, it's really cool to see how a player look at things.

He needs to learn good technique. He doesn't wrap up or drive his legs. Sad with the potential he had.

We've all heard the rumors from the little birdy that Reggie Walker played part of the season injured, and that he needs competition in practice or he just checks out.

Walker will have some competition this year with the addition of Sekona and Pomele (at least you hope they are good enough to give him some competition). On the outside, Olu Hall as a starter -- that should be an upgrade.  :hope: Antonio Felder *might* be talented, and Antwon Moore will be back. He makes an occasional play unlike all the other returning LBs.

Soooooooooooo, with all these news guys, isn't there some chance they will be improved?  :ohno:

i like A.Moore. he is just smaller and he was actually injured a lot last year. But injuries are not an excuse for today's football player. We all played injured!
As far as improved at LB...we have no way to go but UP! :hope:

True, but he did tear his ACL.

Exactly. The blueprint for gouging the D was right there in the UT game.  A steady dose of Jamar Charles and that game would've been another 2006 shootout.

Colorado saw and tried to exploit the same thing in the first half -- replay Prince's halftime or post-game interview and he basically states outright that they had to clog the middle and push Colorado's running game to the sidelines to contain YPC.

Good thing Baylor had a relatively poor passing game and couldn't run at all.
