Here we look at teams that have really sold out, scheduling the most games against I-AA opponents. There are 18 teams charted, and Big 12 teams occupy seven of the slots.

Like it or not. It worked, and BS was a genius at getting everyone that mattered to buy into it.
Is there anyone out there that wouldn't go back to 10 and 11 win seasons, no matter who those wins were against?

Easily the most influential and important individual in the history of Kansas State University....
We will never come close to finding a man like Coach Snyder (I still can not call him Bill, he's always Coach Snyder)

Influential and important in Big 12 history as well. Not only for what he accomplished at K-State, but there would be no Stoops at OU or Mangina in Lawrence if not of Snyder. Not to mention all the coaches who got fired because they couldn't match his achievements.

Like it or not the scholarship limits are starting to take effect and talent is beginning to spread out all over the nation look at the power programs now. Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Ohio State, LSU, and Georgia. All sit on fertile recruiting grounds which leaves mediocre programs like KSU to scramble for what is left. What people forget is that teams like Fresno State and Marshall two examples (I can get you more if you wish) of teams that have been able to grasp some of this leftover talent and when a team plays one of these "cupcakes" as they are so affectionately referred to they are often overlooked considered just another win on the schedule example App. State vs. Michigan that evens the playing field. Snyder had a strategy when he scheduled each and every one of his opponents as he felt they mirrored someone else in the big 12 example USC mirrored Texas in his mind or if you want a lower tiered team he felt like in the year 2003 Marshall would be a good mirror team to Texas A&M, however the more valuable lesson he was trying to teach them was to get up for every game otherwise, you might get beat by someone you don't expect Illinois State for example.
