I saw him on a couple different channels yesterday, but I couldn't figure out what had happened - it was interviews with him.  I hadn't heard about it.  Thanks.

I always loved his baseball/football comparison routine.

He was a Dr. Demento staple.  A truly funny person who also had some "intellect" about him.  On a side note, if you believe death come in 3's, I might be scared if I was an aging musician. (Bob Dylan?)  :ohno: (ftp://:ohno:)

"I got fired from my job last week for saying the word 'shoot*' in a town where the big is called Craps.  I can just hear some Texan saying 'Oh 'shoot*', I crapped'.  And they probably fly him in for free !  Fired me.  'Shoot*' "


*Since we censor the word for 'to defecate' or 'excrement' to the word crap, I have used 'shoot' instead.
