Looks like he played for the DC Assault. Injuries hampered him, otherwise he'd be rated higher. He will be part of the 2006 class.

GRCOAT?
or
DITRCOAT?
-
No.
-
i'm happy he's part of the 06 class. he really would of hurt the grcoat's prestige.
-
This makes the Stephon Hannah thing not seem so bad.
-
I would have rather had Evans.
MCMW
-
Oh yeah, I forgot about him. I think we will get him later on.

Very interesting....gotta trust huggs here.
-
A) Looks like a "true" PG, though perhaps his size kept some other programs away from him.
B) More connections to DC (Assault) can't be a bad thing.

i guess we just trust in huggs. (although i'm glad he's not coming in next year to ruin GRCOAT.)

Don't forget Patswald, Huggs' favorite walk-on.
Made a comment about him during the MCB Luncheon Wed. Said some of the guys were asking him if Huggs really has 3 hour practices. Pats told 'em...not all the time, sometimes they're 3.5 hours.

Late pickups under Bob Huggins:
Solid PG's from decent prep schools who have played on good AAU teams and have shown they can ball.
Late pickups under Jim Wooldridge:
Ivory Coast Co-Ed Rec C League 4th teamers.

He was in Prep School.
-
You can thank Dalonte Hill for this.
-
from capital journal:
"I'm looking forward to being a Kansas State Wildcat."
And what can Wildcat fans look for from you, Ray?
"What's best about my game is just getting other people involved," he said. "I love to pass the ball.
"Really, I just want to win. That's what I'm all about."
____________
Sounds good to me.

Wolly got a top 101? ITS A MERRICAL!!!!
miracle
he got a number of top 100 guys, they just didn't stick around. other than cartier.
-
You bastard Jarr.
Don't ever post any HoopScoop anymore.
They are the ghetto of basketball recruiting. :onthecan:
-
Since the Hughes’ problem has been common knowledge to Huggins and crew for at least three months now, it now explains Brewer’s recruitment, which at first seemed to be a huge stretch. But, in retrospect, better a solid four year PG candidate than a schollie entirely wasted...

Wolly got a top 101? ITS A MERRICAL!!!!
hoopscoop sucks.

I love this quote,
Brewer on Beasley...
"To be honest, I haven't played with or against another kid like Mike. He's real special. He can finish with either hand. He can be explosive, he can be laid-back.... He's a freak. I know the state of Kansas doesn't have anyone like this. I've seen Kansas play a lot on TV -- they don't have anyone like Mike. Brandon Rush, Julian Wright -- those guys can play, but they're not Mike."
