Question 1:  Definitely

Question 2:  Maybe for Kat "Moneybags" Kid

Question 3:  I'd be down for meeting for drinks...prob. not the show, though.

My problem is the last "big" comedy show I paid money for was Mitch Hedberg.  Pretty much everything else will be a letdown.  R.I.P.  :'(

Last comedy show me and the lady went to was Tracy Morgan.  Enjoyed it.  He came to State.

You are a cheap bastard.

Dude, I just dropped like over a grand on Bonnaroo (considering travel & sh*t).  I pretty much blew my entertainment budget load on last weekend.

ummmmm.....yeah.  Well, the benefits are 1) job security 2) parachute back in to higher ed. 3) plenty of grants to pay for college classes towards masters/phD 4) high marketability (with ESL and PC/study abroad experience) 5) go where ever you want, whenever you want and will always have good shot at job. 6) Summers

The bad part is salary and some of the bureaucracy and parents stuff.

1.  Yes

2.  Prolly

3.  When is it?

In other related thread type answer to question things:  Go into higher ed type work field.  Better pay potential.  Better continuing ed benefits.  Better possibility to work in cubicle/office next to Mrs. kk.

I think the funniest stand-ups to see in person are the ones you've never heard of from television or whatever major media source.  Once they reach a certain level of success, they seem to try to appeal to wider audiences and lose their edge as a result.

Go to a small club on an ordinary weekend and get smashed.  It will be way more fun.

I've never laughed harder than I did at Mitch Hedberg.  But overall, chum1's probably right.

I fell out of my chair laughing at one point.  Kind of a scary moment.  I was laughing too hard, and his rhythm was so perfect, that I can't remember sh*t from his stuff that I'd never heard before.

Again, R.I.P.  :frown:
