prince is keeping the seat warm for leavitt.

That's a depressing thought. We can do better than Venebles.

we can do better than prince though

Actually, a more appropriate comment may be something along the lines of-
Jim Leavitt saw the writing on the wall, refused to be the one to come in right after Snyder knowing the task of filling Snyder's Nike cortez's would be impossible, and is simply waiting in the wings through Prince's tenure.
You really believe that Leavitt would choose USF over KSU all things being equal?
Give me a break.

This should not be interpreted as a comment on Ron Prince, but seriously, if I were Gary Patterson or Jim Leavitt, I wouldn't leave a school where they loved me to have come here...there's no doubt now that if either of those coaches had come, the expectation would have been that we would have won the North. Better to stay at the good spot you're at and see if expectations come down a bit. Meanwhile, if someone else succeeds, good for him.

Did you like my reference to the Nike Cortezs?
And tbh, the scenario that I described was told to me by someone close to Leavitt.
that was a &@#%ing awesome reference.
we need prince to fail asap. isn't leavitt the coach that headbutted his players while they wore their helmets?

^I deleted that after posting, trying to avoid people questioning the story, source, etc.

It doesn't appear so.
