I just got GH3 for the Wii as a birthday present. I've only had it a couple days and I've already mastered easy mode but medium mode is a pretty big step up in difficulty. Expert =

Serious question:  I've an 11 year old daughter who is learning to play. would getting this help her enough to warrant the costs?  She does not have wii, she has ps.

Medium isnt bad when you get used to it.  On hard and expert you have to move your fingers, thats where it loses me.

Well, it will make her quit playing real guitar because GH is so much better....but it will certainly make her much worse at real guitar as well.

Its by Buckethead, and in GH2...the song is pretty insane.  There's a guy on youtube that dominates it though, he'll like, strum once, and then use both hands to finger the notes.  He probably needs to get a life.

give it a couple of weeks and you'll get used to it. if you have a ps, might wanna get guitar hero 2 and play strutter for a bump up to hard. by far the easierst hard song and pretty fun to play too IMO

theres no real relation between the two.  they're totally different.  getting it for her will in no way help her with actually skills, but it is fun.  hell, even slash said that he totally sucks at it, because he is so used to playing a real guita and the difference is huge.

the worst of the worst is that there is no strings.

Also-if you are already pretty familiar with guitar and the particular song where the notes go down by ear but go back up by button...I get nailed on that every time.  I realize there isn't anything you can really do about it, so I just want to complain.  LOL

On the World Video Game Championships they played Jordan for GH2. I think it was a song specifically made for GH2. But they got judged on style and accuracy. Some of them played it behind their heads and got like 95%+. Redic.

Through the Fire and Flames looks easy here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5GpRJItqjw  :hahano: :users:

I have a friend, well it's my girlfriend's brother, and he's 17 and all he does is play guitar hero and smoke weed.  He can get 4 stars on Through The Fire And Flames on expert and he gets 5 stars on Jordan on expert.  He has no life, but it's pretty sweet to watch.
