I agree, the font is too close to the font they use on that crappy network.  Maybe a diff font for fox, other than that it looks pretty good.  This may be a stupid question. . .but what do you design?

when doing a business logo, keep in mind all the places it will be reproduced or placed.

letterhead, invoices...must be clean and easily read. i'd save something like this for electronic things like PDF's or websites.

Yeah make it clean, simple and easy to read in monochrome.  What are you selling?  Cat hair?  Tentacles?

Agree.
Also the "FOX" word and the "design" word don't really go together.
IMO the "design" word has much more potential as a stand-alone element than anything else. Actually IMO, it would be quite nice all by itself.

Thanks for the comments. I've basically just started making logos for local businesses. I've also designed some t-shirts for the shirt shop in our town. Hoping after college to pursue this business even more. I'll make another professional logo for invoices and stuff.

Worse.

Try something more horizontal.

you should just do FOX with like a fox tail or a lil fox or something incorporated into it.

try to avoid script fonts. you want people to look at your logo, but not look at it for an extended period of time and say..WTF does that say?
