said petty things about Lopina on this board that were totally inappropriate.
She also said some things about Dylan that were inappropriate to share...things about his personal beliefs. Things that wouldn't go over well w/ the majority of the crowd we have here. Most didn't see it but I know there were quite a few who did and didn't like it.
Don't forget that part of it.
Last night somebody, and I won't say who but I guess they recently appeared on a Omaha radio station...said something to the effect of, "we donn't want to make much out of this. We're this and that"...and basically as if "we're taking the high road and just letting things be as they may"...today she is feeding the sharks in Nebraska on talk radio.
When will some posters on here get it?
I'm not saying she is a bad person...she is protective of her son. But there were some things that were not too cool that were said.
Some folks on here need to take off their blinders w/ their "his sheet don't stink" thought process.
Bottom line...we heard the transfer rumors LONG ago. It doesn't take a genius to say there is a smell of threat to that. Somebody got more reps than other QB's last spring yet somebody wasn't getting a "fair chance". Whatever.

When Lopina left, Mama Evridge posted good riddance and said that while all the QBs' parents believe their son is the best, only the Lopinas treated everyone else like dirt. She left up the post for a few hours -- long enough for everyone to read it and get the point that the Lopinas are evil, evil people. Then she took it down.
That's been her whole M.O. Say stuff publicly. Erase it. Then when asked about it, act like she is taking the high road and say "I'd just rather not comment." She did the exact same thing when they went public with the Nubbsters slashing Allan's tires. She has played the media and the fanbase like a fiddle. Got to give her some props.

oh yea...I think I remember that tirade...although, it wouldn't surprise me (that his parents treated everyone like crap and thought they were high and mighty) from the attitude I always got from reading crap online about 'k-man'...you should read myspace and facebook sometime, you can really learn alot about people :)

What in the &@#% are you people doing bashing a classy guy's mom and comments from her said months ago about some other Ex-player?
Oh thats right. You're petty, bitter people that refuse to see any wrong doing from your new, clueless coach. There was ZERO Evridge bashing until he left. All of the sudden there is outpouring opinions on how horrible he was. There was ZERO bashing of Snyder until he left. In retrospect, everyone agrees that he lost it the last two years but DURING those years he 'was still good for another decade' and hadn't lost his edge at all. The same will happen to Prince. In four years(at the end of Freeman's reign) when he's fired you'll all then be able to open up and tell the truth because saying it right now while the man is in charge, running the show, just doesn't flow with the kool aid.

so now it's throw momma from the train to huh? pretty sad. if I remember correctly when Evridge first came to KSu she came out in the media and said Allens tires were slashed by angry husker fans and KSU fans on gopowercat.com couldn't eat it up fast enough, infact, until just recently they would still bring it up, 3 years after the fact. And now, all of a sudden she has lost all credability because manhatter said so? this is the same guy that lied to everyone about his football playing experience. manhatter is a joke and makes us all look bad.

I talked with Lopina and Evridge on the phone Thursday -- Webb didn't return a call -- and both were of the opinion that it wasn't their performance that counted when it came to the 2006 season. It was that their last name wasn't Freeman.
"In my own head, when (Freeman) went there it was apparent he was their guy," said Lopina, who has transferred to Washington State. "I thought if I stayed there I wouldn't be given an opportunity."
Evridge felt the same way. He said he has been playing well in practices -- better than Freeman -- but he didn't think it really mattered.
"There was a lot of writing on the wall," Evridge said.

pretty sure there won't be any kstate fans slashing his tires on the way out. we have that going for us.
