My guess is a 250 lb offensive lineman with no other offers.

5-8 corner with 3 Div 1AA offers and 2 Juco offers.

But by golly he'll "run through a wall" for us.

Zero offers is always a good sign, but I'll reserve judgement until I see high school track numbers.  The true indicator of D-1 talent.

High School track numbers and hips are the most important thing.

Based on that alone, we've had 15 Remington/Outland Award winners in the last 12 years.

I'm guessing a high 1/low 2.

You just can't coach that kind of size.  Seriously.  This guy is HUGE.  Literally his hamstrings and ass are probably enormous.

I'll be brutally honest about JJ.  The kid is tall, he has some size, and that is about it right now.  He is a project.  From everything I know about him, he is not coordinated to say the least and is described to not be explosive.  What we have on our hands here is a big kid that hopefully in a few years can see the field.  There was a reason he had no other offers.  The kid was begging for a ku offer since last year and after the ku ol/dl camp, he surely wasn't going to get it.

I'll say this though, welcome to KSU and prove everyone wrong!  :ksu:

It's gotta be a god complex inside Prince . . . it's just gotta be.

For his next miracle . . . black Stan Parrish will take Verne Troyer and turn him into a 6-6 310lb quarterback rushing mother f_cker!!

There is certainly a lot of room for doubting Prince as a head coach, but it is hard to doubt him when it comes to recruiting and developing OL's.

yea its a bit small..get him on creatine and he should be allright. I'M TRYING TO POSITIVLY SPIN THIS AND YOU'RE NOT HELPING. Now in my own defense i'll be realistic. the best he should be is a role player and nothing more. hopefully won't start till his JR year by that time he should have more muscle and mass so the 266 should be up

266 isn't undersized out of high school. A 6'8 frame with 266 pounds is perfect. You really can't ask for more than that. He'll gain no less than 20 pounds in his freshman year. He'll be fine, frame wise. Drinkgern (although I have no idea why he got a d-1 scholarship, he wasn't as good as I figured he would be as a blocker/tackler in hs) had a frame fairly similar to that.

You don't want 310 pound seniors in hs.

More important IMO, is offers and/or legit recruiting interest.

By "legit recruiting interest" I mean not just the mass mail letters, the posters, and glossy brochures, but sustained contact with coaches, visits etc. etc.
