Title: So how does this work?
Post by: dobbie4ksu on May 30, 2008, 12:09:46 PM
So I am wanting to go watch some of these games this weekend and to all of you who have wished me luck with this brain surgery I had, you might finally get the chance to meet me and see my freaking sweet scar, It has healed very fast and looks pretty cool.... anyway I have never been to Manhattan for anything other then a State game, so how does this work, like how much are tickets, where you get them at? yadda yadda... plus I need to go cheer on the DC Assualt for Gods Sake... anyway hope someone who has been around for this before can help me out... and hope to see you there!

This is the first year so nobody has been around for this before.  You can order tix from GPC or get them at numerous places around manhattan.  Probably can get them at the gate as well.

So there is a good chance I drive to Manhattan by myself tomorrow as my stupid fiancee (I really do love her but its hard sometimes) is a ku fan and does not want to step into Manhattan (plus she works tomorrow) Just wanted to dog her for liking uk which by the way I did not know she was a uk fan until after we got engaged then I saw all her uk crap (which by the way she fits in with all of them and my proof is that she wants Mrs. Clinton to be the damn President) sorry to any Hillary fans here, anyway I was thinking some of us members joining up for the important games grab lunch, most of you all probably know each other already but I would like to meet a few of you smart as$es, plus I think I would feel kind of stupid walking or driving around by myself to all these freaking games looking like a dumb as$ (which is not hard for me either) tell me what yous guys think... If your up for it let me know.  I will not be coming up tonight cause I have a no limit hold 'em event tonight...

Yea I read it after I posted it and kind of thought that myself... but once again I blame it on my brain surgery it just doesn't work the same anymore... Plus my fiancee was right behind me when I posted it, she knew I was joking I think.... Also I am yet to be called any names or that I am a bad poster yet I figured this might just get me there... who knows

i'm not going, i despise aau ball (seen a ton of it in my day).  i'm more of a "controlled motion" offense and "in your face" defense, type of guy.

This will be my first go round watching AAU ball, are Judge and Mcgruder supposed to be here? I see the teams and all but since I really do not know much about AAU ball I do not know who the teams consists of and all that. But I like watching low scoring high school ball so this should be fun I think.

Per Rivals it says Latavious will be here but per rivals his AAU team is the Birmingham Raptors I do not see that team at the Classic is he playing for a different team for this tournament?
