Title: vote for your fave Bo Pelini moment...
Post by: The Manhatter on May 28, 2008, 01:14:37 PM
I'm glad we have a coach who reads books and gives leadership courses rather than a ranting idiot.  Prince will rape Pelini's defense and I doubt ole' Bo charges a 6-5 300lb man the way he did a little old man in Snyder.

Dude, you have always lived in your own world.  Maybe your coach should start reading books on how to coach.  Also, Pelini would kick Prince's ass... hell I could kick Prince's ass.  You can tell him I said that to.

Prince = offensive coach....very efficient and productive offenses at UVa.  Last season offense avgd. over 30ppg and over 400 ypg.

Pelini D = 50 points at home to Arkansas
Mizzou DC = 7 pts to Arky in Cotton

thanks for stopping by Slick and be sure to vote!!

Man, if our former coach was that much better than your current coach and our coach was fired... what does that say about your expectations?  :dancin:

you talking about the coach who finished behind Prince in the North standings?

What is funny is that Callahan was an okay coach...just needed to hire a better DC.  He's an offensive genius and he was getting the players.  Now you just have an idiot masquerading as a defensive coach who had defenses w/ loads of talent getting lit up like pinball machines.

You current coach was the D coordinator that complained to our coach about running up the score.  How is that not extremely embarassing for you?  This is who your team ended up giving the head coaching job to.    Lolz.

Thank god Callahan is gone  :ohno:  That guy was really good.  Recruits always had me scared.  Brilliant offensive coach.  Frackin' morons replace him with JimBob Whitetrash and put out a DVD called "return to tradition"!?  Brilliant.

No doubt.  Callahans incoming recruiting class was ridiculously good.  He was obviously going to keep recruiting at that caliber year in and year out.  I couldn't be happier that Nebraska decided to again go the traditional route and hire an incompetent moron to be the head football coach.

Callahan was an okay coach??!!??  WTF?? Sure he could smooth talk some high school kids with dreams of the NFL, and is "Good" at developing an offense, but a genius?? I think not...not with some of the play-calling decisions he made against the good teams around the country...sure, against KSU he looked like a genius, and so did Cosgrove (SAD), but I will have to agree to disagree that he was a good "Coach."  Oh, and by the way, Huskers do not settle for an "okay" coach.  As far as Pelini goes....well, he did shut down the opposing team in the only game that matters...the National Championship...when was the last time KSU shut down the opposing team in the Big Game......?

Most sane and rational people would agree that Callahan, as an offensive coach, is a genius.  I can't believe you used the "play calling against good teams" line...seriously.  I don't care what kind of magic you think a coach is supposed to have but against the USC's of the world things just won't work like water running out of the faucet.  And don't even go there about Tom Osborne being the world's greatest "play caller" as Nubb fans have tried to say over the years.  When OU and CU had better talent things didn't work against those schools which is why Barry owned Tom.

Bo Pelini is a retard, no doubt in anyone's mind.  Callahan scared the s#!t out of me and I'm extrem. happy the corn fired his ass (worst move in college football history).

Wow....Callahan scared the sh_t out of you? Well, good thing you aren't a Ball State fan then, because he obviously didn't scare the sh_t out of them...Callahan was WEAK, and just because he handled KSU during his tenure doesn't mean you should be/have been 'scared' of him. There's a difference between recruiting players that 'at the time' were good, (high school) and recruiting talent that can be molded into NFL talent. (Terrance Newman)  What part of callahan's offensive genius was scary, or NFL caliber for recruits. Who are the recruits that have excelled in the NFL, what are their names?  Which player was a "big play" player? If Lucky was such a 'Great' recruit, why did Pete Carroll want him to walk on, and not offer him a scholarship? Too many questions to label Callahan as an "offensive GENIUS." I can't buy it.

LOL.  He's jerking your chain.  He's said before Callahan was a crapty coach that lacked balls and brains.
