Martin should have never said anything about online classes. Many schools use online courses for athletes, but most never talk about it.

So the list of things Andre Gilbert offered K-State goes from 1 to 2.
(1) Rider game
(2) Good academic standing/leaving.

seriously, almost every university in america offers online courses and many without a limit on how many you can take per semester. just look at the dce program here. there is nothing wrong with an athlete choosing to take them instead of traditional classes. smart move, imo.

Well if your athletic department recruited not ONE, but SEVEN guys who were so stupid they couldn't pass online classes on their own . . . you'd feel a little "snakebit" by that fancy new process as well.

Texas likes to take full advantage of Austin Community College . . . where amazingly most if not all of ACC's classes transfer right back to UT-Austin. One of the few Texas JC's that has a full regimen of classes that transfer into UT-Austin.
