Title: Big props to Brad Hill and team . . .
Post by: sonofdaxjones on May 26, 2008, 12:26:52 PM
way to step up and keep KSU's baseball tradition alive.

Even CU and Iowa State have more NCAA tourney appearances than K-State.

Time to bring in the fences and turn the Frank into a Women's softball facility.

Definitely.  Big props.

Finishing with a sub .500 conference record, then making a fluke run in tourney only to give up 15 runs and get embarassed in the title game to a team you actually beat in the regular season was a proud accomplisment.

Lol.  How powertardish.  When mediocrity is always good enough.

Just think if they hadn't completely sucked balls coming out of the gate of the season, and then choked away a number of games, they may not even had needed a "fluke run" to get into the NCAA Regionals.

But I am sure Powertard land is ready to give the guy a major raise and contract extension.

Then they finish the season with an "atta boy" from Augie and company.

No reason K-State couldn't field a top notch softball team in a few years, and they'd have one of the best facilities in the country in TFS.

Might as well drop Men's Track and Field and XC, they haven't done $hit as a team in nearly 3.5 decades.

Women's soccer, recruit Johnson County and Suburban KCMO (suburbs).
