:curse: Thanks for the "effort" while here BILL!

What an abortion! :chainsaw:

How much running and training can you do recovering from an ACL injury. I still hope he comes back but if not i wish him luck. :eyeseeyou:

holy sh1t, he looks like achilles now!!!
-
Notice the lack of "ibba jibba".

Brad Underwood told me Billy is the smartest (book smart) college basketball player he's ever been around. He told me he did get a 28 on his ACT. He said school is a breeze for Billy but he &@#%ing hates school and hates going to class. He apparently doesn't hate the food in Manhattan.
-
I wonder if he'll go Shawn Kemp in the association? A few amazing years, lots of kids, then balloon up to 340.

So he's the polar opposite of Brandon Rush and Darrel Arthur??

Looks like a second round pick to me.
Come back; go all american; and get crazy money
Your family can wait one more year
-
I love him.

Bill played with the extra weight because of the Hoskins injury. Simply could not be an effective low post defender in a shooting guards body.

frack him for fracking with us!

JFC, he looks fantasic. Definitely not coming back now...cripes what a difference. At least he's wearing purple.
-
JFC, he looks fantasic.
Can you even believe that. Completely different looking. Was pretty good looking before but now
-
Still fat.
-
Still fat.
I would sit by him at a bar and be all, "Oh hey good lookin', what'a'ya havin'?" Then, when he told me, I'd be all, "Hey barkeep, can I get another (insert what he's havin') for my handsome friend here?" Then, after I chat him up a bit, I'd be all, "Oh, really!? You play basketball? I thought you were just a sexy model!" I'd see where it went from there but you can imagine after those moves (< sd best moves)
-
Clearly an indictment on Frank's coaching with Bill having to "learn" the nuances of the game, and a "Jab step" which of he of course never used while at K-State.
You know, with the unlimited hours of practice time NCAA coaches have, and realizing of course Walker wasn't injured at all during his time at K-State.
Really a poor job by Martin.

I tried to get mad at Bill for seemingly only starting to try after he left school, but he's just so gosh darn adorable, that I couldn't manage.
-
On the plus side, if he does come back, he will be a god.
-
Brad Underwood told me Billy is the smartest (book smart) college basketball player he's ever been around. He told me he did get a 28 on his ACT...
The smartest basketball player he ever met only got a 28 on the ACT? That seems kind of low. Isn't a 28 just "Smart" rather than "Really Smart" or "the smartest _______________ I've ever been around"?
-
Well considering Underwood has been coaching at a juco, I'm sure someone who scored a 28 seems like the second coming of Albert Einstein. And a 28 is pretty darn good.
-
Also, you know what kind of half assed effort Walker must have put into taking the ACT.
-
Also, you know what kind of half assed effort Walker must have put into taking the ACT.
exactly, a 28 for walker is like a 34 for some white/asian kid who needs a scholly and eventual geek job.
-
I got a 28 twice on my ACT (29 high) and I just got my 2nd 4.0 in the college of engineering... I don't know many other draftees that even appear to be 28ish smart.
-
God i love him and wish he would come back!!!!!!!!!!! :billypopcorn: :eyeseeyou:

QFT on the above. I bet that's higher than Clent got and he's basically asian.
-
Clent probably would score higher if he got a breathe right strip on his nose so he wasn't breathing through his mouth for his entire life.

QFT Can't tell you how many times I was like "Hey Clent, smell this rose!" Clent would lean down, put his face right up to the rose and just inhale really hard through his mouth. Sooooooooo annoying.

Bill Walker was so much fun to have around. every time I see him now, I think of one of those Darrell Dawkins-esque thunder dunks he threw down somebody.
Mofo could rattle the rim.

LOL again.
You know I smile and giggle when I make you laugh? Everyone in the office asks what is so funny and I inevitably show them some super cute youtube video of a baby (office full of women/mothers/preggers) to deflect the truth. :shy:
-
I laugh thinking about when he clowned that dude from OSU at the 'Gon. He hammered two dunks down on him in a span of about 1 minute. Love the spin move dunks. I remember Billy's first score. Little dribble spin jumper down on the baseline. I'll miss the twists, the headband, the smile, his voice, that nasty beard thing on his neck and under his jaw, his hands, those brown eyes. Oh my God I want Billy back!!!

I will miss Bill.

Shame that Bill didn't get into basketball shape until he stopped playing college basketball. I think that Bill's apparent dislike for all things college is motivated by the one-year-in-college rule, which he obviously thinks amounts to little more than exploitation of young basketball talent. I can't say that he's all wrong.

I don't think Bill should be blamed for not trying hard enough this season. 16-6 is plenty.
Clent and Blake didn't seem very intent on improving themselves.

Not blaming Bill, fatty. Just saying that he wasn't in great shape and that it hurt his productivity. Dude was still amazing at times, and I'm very grateful for his year in Manhattan. Thankfully, it appears (reading Chad Ford's stuff, anyway) that Bill is moving solidly into the first round. I think he's gone regardless - glad to see that he's dedicating himself to his craft and being rewarded.
-
If he comes back at the size he is now he will be unstoppable.

Why did I keep thinking of Tiger Woods when I watched that video? They call OJ "100 grand?" Bill is a badass. I can't see him missing the first round. :eyeseeyou:

How come S&C god Greenawalt didn't get Walker in shape?

Interesting player comparison on the right hand side of the interview as well.

Bill Walker: It’s real important because it shows people the level of dedication I have for my craft; to shed that weight and try to be the best I can for the draft and these workouts.
Holy $^#!. I think this makes me Bill's official speechwriter. Bill? You out there?
