Title: Birdman
Post by: steve dave on May 02, 2008, 02:58:42 AM
Could Birdman survive without Wayne?  I mean, I want to know what you guys think but it's pretty obvious to me.  Wayne would be more fruitful without the dead weight that is "Birdman" (If that is even his real name  )

Wayne without that Waste of Space! (http:// http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hfc7Pcjl20)

This seems like a good time to point out that if Rick Ross didn't have that awesome beard he would be unemployed.

The annoying Hispanic guy at the beginning of the video has a face for radio.

The Lil Wayne part is the best part of that video fwiw.

That puerto rican hype man is off the charts of the unintentional comedy scale.

The best part?  The end where birdman is asked what he would do upon his release from Angola:

"Make a lot of money."

Birdman is an all american contributor compared to Rick Ross (sd's new non-working-nemesis).  I mean, granted, you are the first "rapper" to have a big respectable beard....great...no reason you should be making more money than me given you sound like s**t.  Just imo.

I think the real appeal is in how much he looks like Mr. T.

^This is a pretty good representation of the abortion that can occur if you let Rick Ross and Birdman get together.  The first half of this video would make my grandmother puke and she LOVES rap.  Once Young Jeezy starts in it gets pretty good and Wayne takes it into the level of a serviceable video.  Birdman's pigeon call carries him the same way Rick Ross's beard carries him.  Disgusting if you ask me.

^ Prob. my fav. of Wayne carrying the "team". You can FEEL when Rick and Bird both almost destroy this masterpiece.  Horrible that they let them in.  Also, RK is hilarious when he says, "Don't ask me what my name is, stupid bitch I'm famous"

^ Wayne has seen Jordy burn Talib about 50 times

OK, so we've discussed Wayne's album maybe not being what we thought.  Wayne's part in this Lloyd thing is rediculous good...to bad it's only about 30 seconds and then you have to listen to the rest of this retard Lloyd singing.  Worth it to skip to about half way and get the beat from the singing joker and then listen to smooth Wayne imo.  (MTV links because way better audio than YT).  Wayne is a God Damned artist here.

Are you referring to the short album that came out last december?  There are lots of tracks that were leaked between TCII and TCIII.  One mixtape that some people went apecrap over was the drought is over pt. 2.  The more I think about TCIII it's no wonder it was a dissapointment.  Some of Wayne's best crap was released via mixtapes and leaks.

lil wayne, overall has been kicking ass over the last year or two.  He and Kanye are holding the "pop hip-hop" torch.  Or something.

Yeah, The Carter III is amazing.  I take back anything I ever said about it.  Just listened again and Wayne is our generation's Mario Andretti.

The closest my Grandma got to rap was Glen Miller Orchestra.   :blindfold:

But Birdman's call is worthy of carrying him.  You can't really compare it to Ross' beard because it doesn't have the same catch phraseyness to it.  I can't grow a beard like that.  But I can make the bird call and get mad fist-bumping respect out of it.

Every time I go back to this I get more amazed at Wayne.  I absolutely love Carter III.  Everything is like, on the verge of getting completely out of control, but Wayne can always reel it back in.

Heard "Beat Build" this afternoon on my badass car stereo, and I've been listening to wayne all f*cking day.

Maybe I just don't get it. I can't stand his voice. His lyrics are weak.

I think somebody discovered him, told their friends, the friends bought in without forming an opinion of their own.

Well that's at least all of the people I know of anyway.
